About

An independent desk for a decision that is easy to rush.

Field-service software is sold in demos, annual contracts, and per-user fees. This site exists so an owner can walk into that process with a written list of needs and a record of what the vendors have actually published.

Who it is for

The readers we have in mind run small field-service companies: HVAC contractors, plumbing companies, electrical contractors, landscaping businesses, and similar trades. The first comparison covers Jobber, Housecall Pro, and ServiceTitan because those names come up often. Coverage can grow later. A missing product is not a judgment about it.

What kind of project this is

This is an experimental commercial website. The long-term idea is to support the work with affiliate marketing or advertising, if that can be done without hiding the commercial relationship. That revenue has not been validated. As of November 6, 2026 (Pacific Time), no affiliate program has been joined and no advertising is running. The affiliate disclosure is the place that fact will be updated.

The site does not sell software, implement software, or negotiate with vendors on your behalf. It does not ask you to create an account.

How a statement gets on the comparison

  1. We start with the vendor’s own pricing page, help center, or product page.
  2. A feature is marked Verified when that page states it in plain language.
  3. It is marked Plan-specific when the page ties it to a named plan, an add-on, or “select plans.”
  4. It is marked Vendor claim when the vendor states an outcome or a marketing description we did not measure.
  5. It is marked Unknown when the pages we reviewed are silent, or when two official pages disagree.

We do not create vendor accounts to look for features behind a login. We do not turn a salesperson’s comment into a published fact, because we do not contact vendors. If a page is a web application and the text we could read is incomplete, the comparison says so.

The current review date is November 6, 2026 (Pacific Time). Prices and plan names after that date need a new review before they are treated as current. The source list names each page.

What we will not claim

Corrections

This prototype does not publish a contact form and does not accept customer records. A correction belongs in a later editorial review of the cited page, with the source URL and the date checked again. Until that review, the comparison should keep the uncertainty label rather than guess.
